Do Not Judge the Season Too Early: Today’s Revival

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

Do not judge the season too early because incomplete work often looks unsuccessful before it becomes clear.

Many people abandon healthy habits, meaningful relationships, disciplined routines, or faithful work because they evaluate outcomes too soon. However, timing changes interpretation.

An African proverb says, “Rain does not fall on one roof alone.” Every season carries conditions you cannot fully measure from your current position.

After learning to trust the slow work, another truth appears. Not every unfinished thing is failing. Some things are still becoming.

Growth often looks ordinary before it becomes obvious.

Why You Should Not Judge the Season Too Early

First, unfinished work gives incomplete information. A process in motion cannot always be evaluated accurately.

Second, early judgment creates unnecessary discouragement. Progress becomes difficult to see when expectations move faster than reality.

Third, patient evaluation protects perspective. Reflection helps you notice what urgency ignores.

Do not judge the season too early because timing reveals meaning.

That does not mean avoid accountability.

It means avoid conclusions before enough time has passed.

So pause for a moment.

Where have you already decided something is not working?
What expectation are you using to measure progress?
And what if this season is still unfolding?

If the work is unfinished, stay present.

When progress appears small, remain attentive.

Before labeling something unsuccessful, allow more time.

Today, resist the urge to evaluate too early. Continue faithfully. Stay open. Let the season reveal what it carries.

Because not every quiet season is empty.

Some seasons are building roots.

Close the Prayer

Father, help me resist early conclusions and trust Your timing. Give me patience to remain faithful while growth develops. Teach me to recognize unfinished work without calling it failure. Amen.
